Documenting life through my cameras has been a life long passion. I began this adventure in second grade when I stepped into a darkroom for the first time. It was magical. As I watched my first photograph emerge from a blank sheet of paper, I was hooked. Five cameras later, I won some awards and graduated with a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College Of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. I moved to San Francisco in 2000 and have since explored many areas of the craft such as editorial, documentary and portrait work. I am currently located in Berkeley, CA.

Family Photography:

Now that I am a mother, I have gained a new perspective and love of photographing children and families. I feel that it is important to capture and preserve the beauty of those fleeting moments of childhood. During a family photo session, I usually photograph in and around the family home. Using mostly natural light, I aim to capture the little moments that are unique to each family. I am also available for newborn and maternity sessions.

Rates vary depending on the type of session desired. Please contact me for more details.

"Noel did a great job photographing my kids. The shoot was easy, fun and only took an hour. I was hoping to get 5 photos that I liked and instead, I got 25 photos that I loved. Noel is sweet and very talented. I highly recommend her."

"Noel creates high profile photographs with a down to earth attitude. She's a calm, laid back, one woman show, yet produces work that looks like a truck of equipment and a full staff was needed. Her work always turns out fit for travel and lifestyle magazines. Her knowledge of light, composition, and storytelling turns the ordinary into extraordinary.

She photographed my boyfriend and I in our mediocre studio apartment for a personal project and someone asked if we lived on a movie set after seeing the final images. He was blown away by how pristine everything looked. What amazed me about that particular shoot was her use of only two tools: her camera and her eyes. She had a car full of equipment and produced amazing images without it.

If you have anything to photograph, from your kids to your new restaurant, hire Noel. I've seen her do it all."
